2016 05/10/16: Understanding Dementia
The occurrence of Alzheimer's disease is expected to increase by 40% in the next 10 years, with serious effects of our society. A panel of experts, including gerontologist Kristina Turk, elder law attorney David Charous, social workers Joan Ente and Mary Lu Osterberg, and Michael Melinger of Home Instead Senior Care will discuss Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia and offer resources on how to cope with this critical issue. Clinical advice and community resources will help you care for your loved one. The Skokie Chamber of Commerce & Industry is proud to co-sponsor this joint program with the Skokie Public Library.
