2016 05/12/16: Real Estate Resource Roundtable
"Understanding the Village Building Permit Process"
Strong property values and the quality of life for residents and businesses are directly tied to the quality of real estate stock and construction. Municipal zoning and permitting processes ensure the integrity of building standards and protect resident and occupant safety. As the spring and summer improvement season begins, it is important to understand Village Ordinances and the process for obtaining the necessary permits. Please join us as Terry Oline, Property Standards Supervisor, and Nathan Kriska, Building Division Supervisor, present this informative session designed to help your remodeling or building process go smoothly. This is a joint program presented by the Skokie Chamber of Commerce & Industry's Real Estate Resource Roundtable, Skokie Public Library, and the Village of Skokie.
The Real Estate Resource Roundtable is a group within the Skokie Chamber of Commerce whose mission is to serve the entire cross section of professionals that touch the real estate sector. If you’re involved with the purchase/sale of property, energy, financing, appraisal, staging, inspection, or one of the trades, the Real Estate Resource Roundtable is here to provide information, education, and opportunity to the real estate related business community, as well as the general public.
