Nonprofit Roundtable: Staff and Board Dynamics: An Open Forum
As Nonprofit Executives, we have all been blessed to work with Boards and committees that function smoothly and act in the best interests of the organization; with a clear sense of purpose and vision. However, we have all experienced the rare instance when a Board Member or committee person acts dysfunctionally or with personal agendas. The results are often gridlock, frustration, or lack of progress in achieving critical goals for the whole organization.
Join our very own, Howard Meyer, Executive Director of the Skokie Chamber of Commerce & Industry, as he leads a session designed to give the Nonprofit Executive tips and tools that you can use to "put your Board to good use" and maximize the resources a properly focused Board or volunteer can provide.
Howard Meyer is not only our Executive Director, but a professional with thirty-plus years experience, who has spent his entire career working for nonprofits. We hope that you are able to attend this program, and not only receive the benefits of his experience, but share your tips and tools as well!
Light Breakfast Sponsored by Temple Judea Mizpah.
