Senior Resource Connections
Who is Skokie: "It's Not Your Grandmother's Skokie Anymore!"
Please join the Senior Resource Connections as we present Steve Marciani, AICP, Village of Skokie Planning Supervisor. We have designed this presentation to be fun and informational and to help you understand Skokie's unique business climate. Get the tools needed to reach out to your target market - or tailor your message to our community.
The Skokie Chamber's Senior Resource Connections is a group of professionals whose work touches upon the lives of seniors. From caregivers to attorneys to real estate/relocation specialists and finance experts, we share a common connection of assisting seniors and their family members. The group has a double focus: to educate and provide resources to the community regarding the needs of seniors, and also to network with each other and provide the best referrals possible for the clients of its members.
Steve Marciani, AICP, is the Planning Supervisor for the Village of Skokie and has worked for the Village since 1997. He prides himself on coming up with out-of-the-box solutions, walking the fine line of using both data and humor to disarm and educate, and focusing on progressive plans that can actually be implemented. Prior to joining Skokie, Steve worked for North Chicago and Bolingbrook. Steve has a B.A. in Urban Planning, B.S. in Finance, and Master of Urban Planning all from UIUC and holds a certificate in ornamental plant materials from the School of the Chicago Botanic Garden. He resides in Near South, Chicago.
**This program is open to all Chamber professionals who feel that they may benefit from this presentation.**
