2016 11/10/16: Senior Resource Connections: Family Conversations
Senior Resource Connections
"Family Conversations - Planning with the Loved Ones in Our Lives"
Even the busiest of families find themselves spending more time together during the holidays. This presents a great opportunity to talk to each other about the planning that needs to happen as loved ones age. Whether focusing on aging parents, a spouse, siblings, or even if you just need help planning for your own future the amount of information you feel you need can often be overwhelming. Please join us for a panel discussion on many of the topics related to aging on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Skokie Public Library.
Our panel of experts will include Mollie Whitehead of WhiteheadFink Elder Law, Joy Schaefer of Home Helpers of Northeastern Illinois, Jane Woloson of Lincolnwood Place, and Erin Marcus of Caring Transitions, and will be moderated by Heather Lantry of Right at Home.
This program is a joint presentation of the Skokie Public Library and the Skokie Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
The Skokie Chamber's Senior Resource Connections is a group of professionals whose work touches upon the lives of seniors. From caregivers to attorneys to real estate/relocation specialists and finance experts, we share a common connection of assisting seniors and their family members. The group has a double focus: to educate and provide resources to the community regarding the needs of seniors, and also to network with each other and provide the best referrals possible for the clients of its members.
