DESCRIPTION:Virtual ZOOM Event:  The ABC's of Grant Writing\n\n\n\nBrought to you by the Skokie Chamber's Non Profit Roundtable and The Skokie Community Foundation\n\n\n\nPresenter:  Jennifer Sultz\, Development Director\, Turning Point Behavioral Health Care Center\n\n\n\nWhether you are new to grant proposal writing or seeking to improve your skills\, this workshop focuses on providing you with best practices in writing a grant application that avoids common pitfalls\, attracts attention and ultimately provides funding resources for your nonprofit.\n\n\n\nThis webinar is being presented live and will not be available for participants afterwards.\n\n\n\nJennifer Sultz:\n\nMs. Sultz has had the pleasure of serving as Development Director for Turning Point\n\nBehavioral Health Care Center since 2015\, and has over 25 years of experience\n\nworking with non-profit organizations in the Chicago area. She served as Executive\n\nDirector at Evanston's Piven Theatre Workshop\, where\, during her 16-year tenure\, she\n\ncoordinated the organization's most successful fundraising events\, expanded grant\n\nfunding\, grew total assets to an all-time high\, and oversaw operations of the\n\nsubscription theatre and nationally acclaimed actor training center.  She went on to\n\nfreelance as a fundraising consultant and event planner for a wide variety of Chicago\n\narea non-profits\, also serving as Development Director for Chicago's A Red Orchid\n\nTheatre\, before joining the team at Turning Point. Ms. Sultz is a graduate of Grinnell\n\nCollege where she still actively serves as a class agent and alumni volunteer.
