Orchard Village is looking for a part-time Therapeutic Recreation Specialist.

Therapeutic Recreation Specialist Responsibilities:

The Therapeutic Recreation Specialist plans and implements therapeutic recreational programs and activities. Acts as a leader in the collaboration with clients, family members, and other stakeholders to implement and monitor client CILA and Behavior Support Plan goals. Follows best practice models for writing therapeutic recreation goals implementing interventions. Maintains contact with clients and appropriate support staff, writes accurate clinical notes, collects and monitors pertinent therapeutic recreation data and responds and revises plans.

Therapeutic Recreation Specialist Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or comparable field preferred
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities
• Experience implementing therapeutic recreation interventions
• Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and ability to travel to multiple sites required
