The Village of Skokie is seeking qualified candidates for the Position of Automotive Mechanic.  Under general supervision of the Automotive Supervisor, performs skilled repair and maintenance work on a variety of vehicles and mechanical equipment; Performs general maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Village equipment, including light and heavy-duty diesel trucks; Performs regular inspections, maintenance, and cleaning of shop equipment and facilities; Diagnoses operator concerns and vehicle defects
