Join the Skokie Chamber of Commerce Sunday Morning, September 22 at 8AM as we do our part in taking care of the community. Like so many other local businesses, the Skokie Chamber adopted Oakton St. in Downtown Skokie from the Skokie Public Library to the CTA Oakton Train Station (Skokie Swift). A few Sundays a year we put on our gloves, yellow vests, and clean up the neighborhood to beautify our downtown Skokie space. Please join us and other volunteers as we all do our part.We will meet at the Oakton Center parking lot to hand out gear and take our group photo before dispersing on our Clean Green Skokie initiative. We typically turn in our Garbage for the Village of Skokie to collect around 10-10:30am
